Boca Grande, Florida – Fishing Report
Tarpon Season 2014 is here!!!
…well it’s been here…lol
The numbers of tarpon in the area has greatly increased since my last report. The time of the gathering is upon us. There are fish from the rivers all of the way to the beaches and passes. With the migration in full swing the numbers of tarpon will be increasing daily with new fish arriving to get ready for the spawn. Literally acres of bait line the coast, flats and bays of this area all summer long. This is why so many fish stay to feed long after the spawn is over.
As usual I will be fishing 7 days a week. I will update this report as often as I can, but you can get reports more frequently by visiting my Facebook page. I will be posting new photos almost every day.
Although the rest of May is booked solid, I am still open June 16th and 30th.
In July, I am still open the 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th.
October is booked solid already, but I have more openings in July-September for Tarpon ONLY!!!
Till then, keep the line tight and bow when they jump!
