Fishing Report November 29th, 2015

perfect

The fishing since my last report has been great.  Just like last year, the fall run of tarpon was awesome.  As you can see from the photo, I had a chance to catch a few myself.

Now I have just three short months to get ready for the spring migration.

In the meantime I will be targeting snook, redfish and juvenile tarpon in the backcountry.

Well during the last two months I had a chance to really put the new motor on my skiff to the test.  The 90hp Evinrude E-tec has exceeded my expectations.  137 hrs, 2,177.59 miles and 334.38 gallons over the last two months.  That is around 6.5 miles to the gallon.  Running it hard everyday.  Zero issues.  It starts instantly, runs quiet and the hole shot is crazy good.  I couldn’t be happier with it.

Till next time,
