Redfish fishingsnook fishing

With the temperatures in the mid-80′s for the last couple weeks the fishing has been pretty good.  There has been lots of trout in all sizes pretty much everywhere, generally the norm this time of year.  Usually I don’t target trout, we catch more than our share while targeting snook and redfish.  With the warm up the water temperature has been mid-70′s all week.  With some of the deeper backcountry holes even warmer than that.  Still I have had all of my best fishing on the outside edges and points.  I have seen a ton of big snook deep in the back, but as a lot of you may know seeing them and catching them is two different things.  The redfish I have caught deeper in the backcountry have been on the small side.  Just like the snook, all of the bigger redfish I have caught on the outside as well.  Hopefully I will have some more photos to post up after New Years.  I will be out there quite a bit the next few weeks.

Have a good Christmas and New Year!
