Despite the media fueled panic we are still at it. Tarpon fishing as usual.
Although some of the full size migrational tarpon have showed up in Boca Grande pass. I am still fishing for the smaller resident tarpon in our backwater rivers and bays.
With the warm spring we have had so far this year I expect we will be after the full size migrational fish very soon. I expect April and early May will be off the charts.
I will be back down this fall fishing the Florida Everglades. With the mild weather and the lack of cold fronts, just like last fall, the fishing was exceptional. Every day we had multiple opportunities. Only two days last fall we didn’t have a tarpon boatside for a photo session. With tarpon fishing those numbers are unbelievable. am fishing down there I waited till now to start posting the photos from this past month. Fall 2020 I will be fishing the Everglades out of Flamingo/upper Keys September and October.
