Tarpon Season 2014 is here!
…well it’s been here…lol
Although the majority of fish are still on the way, there are catchable numbers in the area. The weather over the last month is mostly to blame for the later than normal start. Constant windy cold fronts kept me chasing the snook a little longer than normal. That is all over now. It will be tarpon only for the duration. From now through October tarpon are not my main target, they are my only target. All other species fall into the “Other Than” category…
As usual I will be fishing 7 days a week. I will update this report as often as I can, but you can get reports more frequently by visiting my Facebook page. I will be posting new photos almost every day.
I had a major cancellation June 16th-19th, so those dates are now open.
Till then, keep the line tight and bow when they jump!
