Tarpon season 2020 is well underway!!!
Thousands of tarpon have arrived in our area. The yearly gathering has begun.
There are tarpon along the beaches, passes and back bays.
April-August is the peak of the tarpon migration in the Boca Grande/Charlotte Harbor area. I still have a few openings this season. June 20th and 21st are still open. I have more openings in July and August, my favorite part of the season.
I will be back down this fall fishing the Florida Everglades. With the mild weather and the lack of cold fronts, just like last fall, the fishing was exceptional. Every day we had multiple opportunities. Only two days last fall we didn’t have a tarpon boatside for a photo session. With tarpon fishing those numbers are unbelievable. Fall 2020 I will be fishing the Everglades out of Flamingo/upper Keys September and October. I am still open September 28th and 29th as well as October 4th, 7th, 8th and 12th.
